Find your rhythm + reconnect to yourself

Online therapy + resources for new moms, highly sensitive people, and trauma survivors in Idaho and Oregon

Are you pregnant or postpartum, struggling to find your way or make sense of how the process has unfolded?

Perhaps you want to be more present, but anxiety or trauma symptoms make that difficult.

I’d love to chat about helping work through trauma, find yourself as a highly sensitive parent, or support your intuitive eating journey.

I’m Dr. April Watts (call me April), a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and supervisor. I work with highly sensitive people like you to help you embrace your sensitivity as the gift it is. I also specialize in anxiety, trauma, intuitive eating, and perinatal mental health. I’m a mom, a nature lover, keeper of chickens, and imperfect meditator. Let’s explore how I can help.

My Approach

First and foremost, I prioritize a non-judgmental, empathic relationship with you—one that feels real (because it will be). I am down to earth and honest, yet gentle and compassionate. We will work together to establish goals, a plan, and a pace that works for you. With this foundation, I then often use mindfulness techniques and I’m trained and certified in eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) to help with anything that feels “stuck”.

You can do this alone, but you don’t have to anymore.

Together, we will reconnect you to your true self and help you feel aligned again.
