10 Lessons from the Bachelor during COVID-19

Lesson 6: Be Intentional

Contestants are often thinking about the future on the show—that’s kind of the whole point (whether you want a future with the lead or just a career as an influencer!).

During COVID-19, let’s try to be intentional with the seeds we’re planting now so we are content with our lives not only now, but when the threat of this virus has passed.

Action Item: Reflect on what "seeds" you're planting now and what that might result in later down the line. Be gentle with yourself. This is not the time to "be productive" if that's not feeling good for you (and it isn't for a lot of people). But what basic things can you focus on--sleep, stress management, thinking patterns, friendships, nourishing food, moving your body in nourishing ways... what are you doing now? What gentle adjustments can you make?

BONUS: See below for a PDF of journal prompts about these things!

Also, if this seems fun for you, make a list of the things you want to do when this is over and when it is safe to do so-- maybe like a "post quarantine bucket list"?
