Supervision
First, a little about my qualifications and experience! I have a Doctor of Education in Counselor Education and Supervision from Boise State University. I have taken several doctoral level courses about supervision theory and practice and have well over 150 hours of supervision experience (not including 20+ hours spent working one-on-one with professors, receiving feedback on my supervision--including watching recordings). I am also close to qualifying for the Approved Clinical Supervisor credential through NBCC which is a long process, but I am excited to have this credential related to something that I am passionate about. In 2023, I was chosen as Idaho State University's Supervisor of the Year (awarded at the Idaho Counseling Association conference).
But most importantly, I love providing supervision.
I believe counseling students should have supervisors who are invested in their growth as counselors--and as people.
I believe in providing a supportive relationship in which supervisees feel accepted yet--at the same time--gently pushed.
If you are interested in working together, please contact me.
